A Strategic Approach

In 2010, Vx purchased a Boeing 737 from a North American airline for leaseback. When the customer encountered difficulties, Vx negotiated a settlement for the early return of the aircraft.

Vx then took the bold step of converting the 737 into a freighter and found a customer for the aircraft with one of Europe’s leading express freight airlines.

The aircraft has been flying profitably ever since.

Vx later made the decision to launch the first private equity fund dedicated to narrow body freighter conversions and is now the largest 737 freighter lessor in the world.

Whether providing capital to airlines when they need it most, converting aircraft to freighters to serve the express cargo market, or generating returns for investors, Vx Capital Partners aims high.
